When PGA TOUR great Tom Lehman saw the rolling countryside of what was to become Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club, he was itching to get his hands on it.

The hills and valleys, the ancient hardwood forests, and the freshwater lakes combine to form a golf course unlike any other in Florida. Co-designer Lehman has created a truly world class championship course. The signature hole, the par-5 11th, features a 94 foot elevation change, the largest natural drop of any hole in the state. Located a half hour north of Tampa, the course is 5 miles east of I-75 on SR 52.

Lake Jovita will ultimately be private but a limited number of tee times are available for area golfers to come and experience this new golf treasure.
